This program will build upon your technical know-how and instill best practices in programs like Linux, Java, SAP and more. You’ll learn what it takes to lead the business of technology, and gain a strong foundation of the fundamental concepts in IT and programming, so you can tackle any trend.

A choice of time and place

Whether you choose to take the program entirely online or to join us on campus – full-time or part-time – it’s all about what works for you. You can complete 33 credit hours in three semesters or flex your time up to five years. It’s your plan and your choice. The on-campus experience will follow COVID-19 regulations.

A greater opportunity

By 2024, job demand for computer information systems professionals is anticipated to increase by more than 25 percent. Graduates are in-demand industrywide and CSU’s College of Business program has a high job-placement rating. Common job areas and outcomes include: project management, data analyst, software engineer, IT management, systems management, technical solutions consultant, technical support engineer, and web developer.

Technology fields are full of choice and so is this degree. Follow your interests to earn additional graduate certificates in: IT project management, business intelligence, cybersecurity, business application development and data analytics.

A chance to stay awhile

As a STEM-designated program, international students earning their degrees on campus may be eligible for an operational practical training (OPT) visa to remain within the United States for a period of time after graduation to gain greater experience and training within their field.
